Thief Lord / Re: Differences« on: December 17, 2013, 06:28:47 pm »
I think the movie followed the book pretty well, the only real problem came when they had to kind of make up the back story, to show how Prosper and Bo got to Venice and met Scipio. I think it was necessary to make sure the backstory on the timeline was established, but it wasnt very realistic. Then again, the whole movie is very unrealistic compared to the movie, but both were amazing in their differences.
I thought Prosper was more protective in the book than in the movie and Hornet was definitely different, but I like her in both versions. What do you think? 4
Thief Lord / Re: Thief Lord!!!!« on: December 15, 2013, 12:07:38 am »
No it's about a bunch of orphans all being helped by one boy who calls himself the thief lord. The story centers around prosper and Bo who are orphans, on the run from their aunt and uncle who wants to split the two brothers and only keep Bo, who is six. They are helped by Scipio and his friends Hornet, Mosca and Riccio.
The movie centers more around prosper, but it's a lovely story whether you watch or read it. For your sake, I would recommend both, because I did both. Theirs no one way to go that's better than the other. 5
Thief Lord / Thief Lord!!!!« on: December 14, 2013, 03:40:36 pm »
Ok, so I'm completely re obsessed with the Thief Lord. The book came out in 2000 and was made into a movie in 2006. I was 9 when I first read it and I'm 17 now. I think, sadly (because this shows how time has flown) I think the book came out around the time some of you on here were born.
But it's an amazing adventure and if you would please step into the world of the Thief Lord with me, I think you'll find you won't want to leave. -Sheed 6

Drake? Nice? Did the person who wrote that even read the series?
Drake is a sadist. Someone who enjoys other people's pain. So he enjoys whipping, and killing and he raises his guns like they're his children. He's very...disturbed. Mental, insane. 10

I really didn't expect annabeth to be right about luke. I didn't really like Caine so much at first. But that was really only when he was allies with drake
